Seth McCorkle lives and works in Reno, NV and creates mixed media portraits of animals, people, and occasionally objects. Having lived all over California, Washington, and Northern Nevada, he is influenced by the people and sights that make up a sometimes undesirable/invisible side of life. Everyone has a story. Everything from the fresh from jail transient to pop culture characters to birds in the back yard.

I started out painting walls, then moved to digital art, then have come back to “traditional” painting, and mark making. I attended a commercial art school, hated it, and started to soak up as much as possible about figurative painting. I attempt to make art daily.
